Fantastic Apartment and Apartment Community From: iwashappy55 Date posted: 9/12/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   I lived at Camden Legacy for a year and just moved out. I had a great expereince from start to finish. When I moved in they allowed me to pick up my keys the night before so I could be ready for the movers. They had also done a great job cleaning the apartment - no dust, clean carpet and clean floors, bathroom and kitchen. I hada problem with my garage door not staying closed on the first day and they came out and fixed it that day. I also bought two ceiling fans to replace the ones in the partment and they installed them in one day. While I was living there I had two maintenance requests for a broken garbage disposal and a dishwasher not working. They fixed them both with in a few days. They also had a prgram in the summer to replace your air filter for free. Every time I went in the office everyone was helpful and treated me like I was the most important resident. They always made time to speak to me and always wanted to help me (paying water bills, getting packages, answering questions, etc.). The grounds were kept very clean even with the curb side garbage pick up. It was very quiet and even the parties and gatherings at the pool were quiet. There some kids but they too seemed well behaved. My neighbors were very friendly and always said "hi." I am glad they did not have gates as I think they do not stop anyone from coming in and are only a hassle. I always felt safe and never saw any suspicious people. I even saw police cars come through periodically on their patrols. There were lots of lights so everything was easy to see at night. I parked in my garage, but always saw available spots. I lived on the Preston Road side (one of the 700 units - I don't want to be specific just incase there are wierdos out there) and while the sun was hot in the summer it was not very loud. I worked out in the gym twice a week and all the equipment was always in working order. The two hot tubs always seemed to be working - they even had this nice indoors one. Overall - A great living experience. I had to move b/c of my girlfriend moving in with me and needing to be more south for her work. But if I could have I would have continued to stay there.
