Carrington Park apts. has a tendency of making insignificant the safety of the complex that when things that are pertinent to those very factors, nothing is done about them. When a complete apt. phase has no breezeway working night lights within them or a sprinkler room door is constantly open for an assailant to hide in to assume a resident as a victim and a call is made to the emergency number with the only response as an answering machine, then it surely lets you know where their priorities lay. It is not in the security of the residents.
I am a single mother with a young child. There is a well known assailant attacking and robbing women in various apt complexes in the metroplex and these insufficient safety measures that are not being corrected do not make me secure in the safety for myself or my child. In fact, there were no notices about this assailant and his attacks passed out to the residents, but there was a religious revival pamphlet recently attached to my door clip instead. I ask you which is of more importance to me and my child when I am coming home to find that my entire building has no night lights for me to see or feel any kind of security whatsoever'
