Disgusting!

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2005
We moved here in mid March. The day we were to move in, I examined the apartment and was horrified to find MANY LIVE roaches running around! Even found one in the fridge! I told the office and they said they'd spray AGAIN before we brought our stuff over. We moved in..the roaches were still here, LOTS of them. They sprayed AGAIN..and the exterminator leaves note saying there were no roaches..So I smashed SEVERAL roaches with his silly note! Then we collect SEVERAL live roaches in a jar and give them to the office..and they spray AGAIN. EVERYTIME THEY SPRAY I HAVE TO MOVE THE CAT AND ALL KITCHEN ITEMS! And they offer no discount on rent or anything.
Meanwhile we get a new infestation of ants! All in the kitchen, master bedroom, master bathroom, Upstairs bathroom...AGAIN we take LIVE critters to the office to show them..they spray AGAIN.
Today, April 20th we seem to have the roaches gone, but whatever they sprayed in the cabinets leaves a poison odor on all our cups and plates. We have to rinse our things EVERYTIME we use them. I've even tried liners etc...
So, today when I am cleaning I find our newest infestation. Termites. They chewed a couple holes through the walls and leave piles of wood. AGAIN, we take more live insects to the office, and we are simply told, "its bug season". Hmm, I think I'll tell them at the first of the month that it is "NO rent season!"
We are not receiving any discount. We are paying FULL market price for this bug hole. I like how quiet it is here, and the grounds look nice, but I have spent too many sleepless nights here, always wondering when I'm going to feel the next bug run over me. Also, we have noted and mentioned that the carpets STINK of dog. When we moved in there was still dog hair on the walls in the Master bathroom. You can't sit on the carpet in the bedroom or in the living room, or else you smell stinky, wet dog odor.
I have asked the office ladies for a discount on rent and they said NO. I feel this is very unfair after all we've endured since we moved in.
This is NOT worth full market value. I have had to miss work, move all our kitchen items several times, endure sleepless nights, deal with reactions to the poisons (which I told them I would have issues with BEFORE we moved in!), AND another strange thing is that each time we've taken jars or bags of live bugs to the office, they don't seem that surprised! I would be horrified the first time! I guess they are used to it, but I AM NOT!
