This place is okay. Appliances are outdated, A/C breaks about 3-4 x's a year. They do not do routine maintenance, like I have had at other apartments. If you want filters changed at the apartment you have to request it, instead of them coming around for a scheduled maintenance. They did not water during the winter so now there are large cracks in the walls. They did not put in new carpet when I moved in, but did clean it. You can still smell the smoke in the stairwell when the apartment is stuffy. They do not over any type incentive to renew leases. You can see gaps at the doors so they need to be insulated. When birds flew thru the chimney and into the apartment, I asked if they put any screens up over the chimney, I was told to shut my flute. Also with all the trees around here it was nice to see them trimmed last year, but they left a few dead branches on the tree by my apartment and I am concerned with lightening strikes, and they have not cleaned the gutters in the four years I have been here.

The rooms are large, plenty of storage, and the staff are wonderful. I do live in a quite area of the complex so that helps.
The earlier comments about the garbage truck emtpying the dumpster is very true as well as the lawn mowers coming in like clock work on Thursday - it can be annoying at times

Because of the rent constantly increasing and now having to pay for water, I may not be renewing my leasing agreement next year. It is costing too much to pay for other folks water usage. They really need to upgrade the units and property in order for me to even consider renewing my lease.

You know, this property just went thru a management change. It now belongs to Berkshire Property Advisors as of the end of June 06. The reason I know that is because I work at a sister property. I am happy to say that one of the main reasons Berkshire bought this property was to do major upgrades, and I mean...MAJOR upgrades. You will notice an enormous difference in upcoming months! Hope this helps!

I'm a current resident that has been at this apt community now for a number of years. After seeing the staff change I was hoping that there would also be a change in maintenance issues and so far, no change. I can only assume that even though it has been bought by a different property that there will be no major difference in the staffs interest to help us out.

I'm not renewing.
