The people in the office NEVER answer the phone, there is no manager, and the office is always closed. Whis is the problem' I just moved in 4 months ago and at first things seem good. But now, you are lucky if you get to see are speak to a real person. The dumb girl that works in the office and lives here allows her dogs to run around without a leash and than tells the other tenants that their dogs have to be on a leash. My AC doesn't work right, the ice maker doesn't work, and the complex is just dirty. It was not like this when I moved in. Things are going down hill fast.

Don't move here, you will be sorry. The girl in the office hasn't a clue on how to run a complex. This place is falling a part. I am out of here when my lease is up.

I've read the last two reviews and tried to be open to the fact that every unit and every person can have a different experience. However, a couple of the comments I feel the desire to respond to. When one makes personal attacks using derogatory terms such as calling someone dumb or saying they belong more in a trailer park then that diminishes the value of the review and makes me question if there is a personal agenda. Now, I know the apartments have some age and aren't perfect. Therefore, I can't comment on your air conditioner or ice maker, other than to say that I can't understand how any one could stand ice from Plano water anyway. But, I do feel I can comment on the office closed and never can find the manager. I've been there too many times and found ------- easily and ----- easily. Also, during the day if the cart is gone from the front of the office, I know they will be back shortly. I also don't see the complex as dirty. Now as to dogs roaming, I just haven't been bothered, but it may differ in each building. $400-600 electric bills such as reported in the previous post would indicate some problem with the air. Now my electric is quite high but I'm here all the time, have a second floor unit, and keep my unit very cool. Plumbing issues were a problem when I lived here before based on what my upstairs neighbor was putting down it. Leaky windows I don't have but again when here before we had to get work done on the bay window. I guess what I'm trying to say is I respect everyone's opinion. However, I respect it less when things are made personal and when things are said I know not to be true. Understand this response is to the combination of the last two reviews. As to end of lease increases, that is a fear of mine that they be beyond that I consider appropriate but I'll face that at the time. I don't agree with what has become the industry practice of rental rates changing almost daily. I know too that all apartments and shared housing will have some problems. However, oh the whole I remain at this time very pleased with all aspects of living here. That is based on living in a first floor unit for four years and then recently returning and living in a second floor unit. I find this a good home for me. That includes finding my neighbors to be very pleasant and nice people. One more question. You say the things that don't work right but you don't say how you have requested maintenance and what kind of response you've gotten on it? Other than the air and ice maker it just seems your other issues are a dislike for the management staff. Well, I like them, but there was a manager my first time here I didn't like. I just didn't let that stand in the way of all the positives. For those who are bothered by some of the age of units related issues, I do suggest a smaller (because it will have to be for the same price) but very new complex. However, I can tell you from my most recent experiences with one of those they can be nightmares too. I did extensive research before selecting apartments and was shocked with the 30%-50% approval ratings of most apartments. I hope your experience here improves with some serious but tactful conversations with management. Beyond that I hope you have good luck when you do move.

I have recently moved out of Chisolm Place. I never had a problem finding some one in the office, maintainence has always responded the same day I called them. I did have a $440-$550 electric bill thae last 2 months of summer
