I lived here about 2 years ago and was surprised to see that 53% of people actually like this place. I'm currently looking to move but will be sure to avoid courtney manor. What do I remember about living here'
*about 5 police cars the week we moved in and after that a patrol car constantly driving around; why on earth would the plano police be interested in an apartment complex unless they're watching for something. We asked about the police "incident" but the office staff would never tell us
*being able to hear my neighbors talk, and they weren't loud
*dealing with the people in the front office
*getting letters on the door about the graffiti on the exercise equipment (goes along with the number of unsupervised children that run around this place)
*not being able to use ammenities, always full of unsupervised children
*the re-bricking of the ENTIRE complex due to falling bricks...hmmm, 6 months after it was built
*broken toilet
*and this is just what I remember off the top of my head
Seriously, I get that everyone has different experiences in apartments, but there were few neg responses I read here that I disagreed with and even fewer positive responses I agreed with.

I'm too also a resident there at Courtny Manor... Everything is so true. They placed us in a brand new apartment, the look of it was nice; however, there are problems with plumbing and the walls are to thin. I could hear my neighbors conversation to arguing and hear their child crying. Its a nice setup but the noise factor and maintenance around the apartment needs to be up to par.

I currently live here at Courtney Manor and I was a leasing agent in Colorado for 3 years, and was a maintenance tech for a majority of my life also in Colorado. I can tell you that the added security of having the police here every night allows me to sleep better knowing that I don't need to worry about break in's and/or stolen cars.
Also, in any apartment complex you are going to hear a little of your neighbors, but normally it is only loud conversations or conversations outside their front door.
As far as the office personnel, the "bad seeds" were removed and replaced by the new management company, which in my experience, is professional and accomidating. It is true that the new staff isn't entirely up to par on proceedure, but they always have found whatever answer they needed to as quickly as possible.
As far as children, I have encountered none. That isn't to say that they aren't there but I wouldn't know. It also sounds like that problem is not with the complex, but rather with the parents not supervising.
With anything that is built, it tends to wear and needs improvement. This ALWAYS happens, to everything.
I understand that you might have had a bad experience here, but you probably know next to nothing about apartments and the communities therein. What you should do is write about every complex you have ever lived in and every one that you will, and I promise you the list will be very similar with complaint after complaint. You seem to complain a lot, and i'm sure that will not change.
