Creekside Homes is a wonderful place to live. I am moving the end of this month but it is only because I am moving closer to my job in Irving but I am staying with Equity Residential because they are an A plus in my book. As for Penny...I am black, I live in Building 7 (I wont tell the exact apt b/c this is the internet) She has been nothing but nice an courteous to me each and every time I have talked to her. She even let me stay in the office after my sister died and I had stuff sent to me from Chicago and let me unpack it all and repack it so I can take it to my apartment and I was there till a little after 6pm when they close. So no, Penny is NOT a racist!! I haven't had problems with heating, my place is perfect. I haven't even had to call maintenance in the 6mths that I stayed here! My only complaint is a man who lives across the way with a huge dog that craps everywhere and he doesn't pick it up. I have a tiny dog who craps and I pick it up, I have abided by every rule and paid my rent days before it is due and I come home today and because I put my trash out at 12am I get charged $25. I don't get that and I asked some neighbors if they where charged and they said no and their trash was out before 6am too. The problem is b/c I am transferring I have to pay $250 plus some prorated rent for May and now they are charging me $25. I feel betrayed because I have been such a good tenant and the one time I make a mistake they slap me for it like I am nobody. But such is life. I still Recommend Creekside to anyone. Its the perfect setting, very quiet, safe, free breakfast 1 a month, clean...I could go on but I may run out of room..and oh JIM is great, he was my leasing agent, wonderful guy, really nice...and for the person who posted about PENNY (you stupid fool!!!).....she IS the office MANAGER and SHE hired A BLACK GIRL to work in the office you dummy!!! Oh and Grandecom is good cable but expensive. Green Mountain stinks&very expensive! I heard about this site today at work b/c I was recommending -the apartments to a coworker and she told me that the place had bad reviews...I couldn't beleive it. Had to come and voice my 2 cents! :)
