We have lived here for several years. There are alot of things we do like about the complex: the neighbors, the expanse of land, the maintenance staff, garage parking. However, the leasing agents are worthless and rude. One, -----, is the most unfriendly person we have ever met and heaven forbid one should have a problem - ----- doesn't want to hear about it. She is just there earning a paycheck and doesn't give a darn about the residents. ----- is just rude. She might be nice to you when you are a potential resident - but beware. You will be able to tell who she is - she walks around with her nose stuck up in the air. Another girl, ---------, lives on property and is oblivious to what goes on in her own building, much less what's happening in the rest of the complex. You ask her or tell her something and it just flies right over her head. But at least she is friendly sometimes. The other girls in the office can't answer simple questions. They used to have a fabulous property manager, but let her get away. Equity promised her one thing and never delivered. Equity's loss! (That seems to be a constant with Equity - making promises and not keeping them.) My first couple of contacts with the new property manager (-----) were not positive experiences. She was rude and unprofessional. I've avoided her ever since. If I had spoken to a customer the way she spoke to me, I would have lost my job. Rents are going up, up, up and the complex is going down, down, down. It was pricey when we moved in and now they are just pricing themselves at the top of the market. Price gouging!! The maintenance staff is decent and friendly, however they do have some problems. They do their best to repair problems, but there are things that they will never to be able to correct. And when they do fix something, it's never right the first time. There is just one guy that's like that, but why do they always send him' Somebody always has to come back after him - seems like a waste of time. We've always had to call back and get them to come a second or third time. And there are lots of leaks and water problems - we've heard many residents mention mold. (don't know what color). Strucurely, this place was very cheaply built and when they fix things, they fix it cheaply. (They should be supervising the contractors that come onsite to repair things - but nowadays, nobody speaks English - so it's no wonder the quality of work is shabby. Ok, I mentioned what we liked in the beginning and that was the expanse of grounds. But there are lots of critters out here too, coyotes, possums, rodents, snakes, spiders, ants, silverfish and other numerous bugs to name a few. Oh yea, they require every tenant to carry personal injury insurance (not just for a person's own personal belongings). Maybe that's in case someone gets bit by a spider or snake so they can't sue the complex. Who knows' I probably wouldn't have taken the time to write this, but I am tired of ----- being so rude to me. She frowns - never smiles, says hello or thank you - never. It would be a great improvement if Creekside/Equity would bring in a decent leasing staff. So if you like rude leasing agents, high rents, bugs, spiders and snakes, lots of noise, lots of barking dogs and their refuse, Creekside is your place. We'll be moving out soon. We are tired of being treated with such disrespect. We've never been late on rent or had any noise complaint - we just don't understand why they treat their long-term residents so thoughtlessly. It would be nice to come home to a place where we felt appreciated.
