I totally agree with my son who wrote a review on Cross Creek a few days ago. My daughter also signed this awful lease. We will remember this experience forever. The first time we were without A/C they left us stranded for 6 days in the middle of Texas heat, then I demanded emergency service. Finally, after 6 days they somewhat fixed it or just patched it in my opinion. The maintenance men can not speak english or understand english, GREAT! At the end of our lease here we are again without A/C and have to demand service in 100 degree weather. I am so glad I am moving out of this hell hole next week. I just feel sorry for the next unsuspecting tenant that will move in to this lovely apartment!! For the whole duration of our year lease the dishwasher never ran properly and should of have been replaced but NO!! they don't have any money in the budget. Our dryer only worked when it wanted too, it would overheat and we had to wait hours for it to cool down, but NO!! they can't replace it. I had to demand pest control for 4 months in a row before someone would show up and my grandsons would get bit by the ants and my littlest grandson who was crawling at the time would find little pests, WONDERFUL!! The office staff should all be fired and not be able to collect unemployment for their behavior. Many times I requested the phone number for Sentinel Properties who owned this hell hole but was always turned away. Their motto is just pay up and shut up! They spend all their budget and their energy for all the prospective tenants coming to visit this hell hole. They offer hot popcorn, home baked cookies, balloons candy for the kids. They even offer to pay for your move up to $400. Then once you sign the lease they do not want to see your face again!! Please look for an apartment elsewhere, if you value sleep at night and peace of mind. They just collected my $1,010.00 a month and did nothing for me. I even paid an extra $10 a month for a creek view but had to look out a neighbor's ghetto decorating with a plastic lawn chair tied to a tree with ropes and his other ghetto landscape treasures on one side and the other side a fallen tree from a storm just strewn all over the backyard. Think before you sign.
