Manigerial Nightmare From: Araunah Date posted: 4/27/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   We went to rent there. We filled everything out, and had a move in date of May 1st 2007. On April 27th 2007 we were notified that we did not meet the financial requirement and that we needed to bring a bank statement up. We did not qualify for rent and my other roommate needed to bring up the total amount. We had 2600 that had been verified, and we needed 3 times the monthly rent to quality. The rent was 895 for the three bedroom. My roommate is a web designer and makes 2500 a month. He took them his bank statement and showed up. After showing them this, they said we need an actual pay stub nothing else. He had 2 deposits for last month listed. One for 1,500 another for 1,350. My roommate is on Direct Deposit and they wanted an actual pay stub not a copy. So, told them that to get an actual one he would have to wait 2 weeks. Inlue of this. They told us we would not be able to move in to this new apartment. We had signed the lease 3 week prior. The entire time we were dealing with the manager of the property, if we had dealt with her on the day of the least we would not have signed period. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. She was very belittling the entire time. After telling us this one of my roommates went up to ask her what had happened after he got off work. But, I went with him and was quite the entire time. He asked her a few questions (The manager). The manager told him that we couldn't qualify because everyone in the apartment need to qualify in order to live there. And then suggested that we have that roommate live as a resident, but not on the lease. Then the women Brittany told her she was incorrect and that not everyone needed to qualify just for the total amount was needed. The manager not only did not know what she was doing, but was extremely rude. The price is good, but not that good.
