For the most part the Domaine is ok. But I have had my run-ins with the completely inept office staff/management - which does change more often than the weather here in the Metroplex.

Not only will they do anything to get you to renew, but they will let anyone in who "has a job and a social security number"!!! (This is the exact wording they used when I moved in!) Since that time I have seen just how true this is from the calibre of neighbors that have come along in the past year.

As for maintenance... The holidays were fun because the "fabulous valet trash service" was put on hold - without alerting the tenants. So curbs were littered with, well, litter for days until the lazy maintenance people could be arsed to clean it up.

Lastly, I cannot speak of The Domaine without mentioning the gates (of this "gated community"). It might be best just to tear them down. I have spent up to 10 minutes at a time trying to get into the complex late at night. On different days, the gates are stuck in the open position so that anyone my breeze through to come burgle all the apartments that they like. I have complained. Nothing has ever been done about it.

Like "brucesoil" I too hate moving. I work 2 miles from The Domaine so it would be foolish to move until my husband and I buy a house. But each day I live in fear of what horror I will find when I return to my "luxury residence".
