How many of those 270 units are sitting empty' How many of those 270 units are rented to drug dealers or users' All you have to do is look at the free rent signs scattered all over the front entrance.
If there is not a problem here - why are they begging for tenants by inducing them to sign with offers of free rent in big bold red and yellow signs! Why would the manager be reading this site and responding if there was not a problem here.
The front office has now confirmed that they are aware of the problems with these apartments by acknowledging that they have read the complaints on this site, but they don't tell people about the problems when people sign a lease.
Read the 3 responses to the entry entitled - DON'T BE SUCKERED BY THERE OFFERS OF FREE RENT - and then you decide.
Show me another apartment site where this many people have entered consistent and similar complaints dating back for years.
Ever wonder why this apartment complex does not use a Texas Standard lease' I have lived in apts for 10 years and I have never complained about one on line before and I have never seen an apt that does not use a Texas Standard lease before signing at the Domaine.
Before you sign the lease - get a Texas Standard Apartment lease and compare it to what they want to you sign and see how different it is and ask they WHY is it so different' WHY do you have to buy out the entire lease if you need to get out of your lease - WHY don't they allow you to pay a reletting fee' The answer is that the apartments are terrible and they know you will want to leave but be stuck b/c you cannot afford to pay them for all the months left on your lease and still afford to pay rent in another apartment.
Ask them how many tenants have brought their electric bills to the front office and complained about electric bills in the amount $461.00 for ONE month here.
Ask them WHY does EVERYONE complain that they go after them when they move out claiming the apt.
was left a mess and telling them they owe them money and turning it over to a collectin agency.
I have not moved out yet but many many people keep telling the same story - that the Domaine has a collection agency going after them when they move out claiming that they owe them money for damage to the apt' So go ahead and sign a lease - but you will pay insanely high electric bills, over HALF of the apt is not livable, they won't let you out, and when your lease is up they will send a collection agency after you.
You may be tempted b/c the place looks decent outside and they treat you so great before you sign the lease and the apartments are actually really cool with good floorplans and lots of space for the money.
Problem is that OVER HALF the space is not livable due to the inadequate heating and air conditioning.
There is a noise that goes off in the master bedroom fireplace throughout the night that sounds like a gun shot in your bedroom and rips you out of your sleep.
There are banging noises all throughout the master bathrooom that keep you up in between the noises from the fireplace and the wind noise is insane any time it is even the slightest bit windy outside.
These apartments were terribly constructed and they make for a miserable living experience and management knows of these complaints and choses not to disclose these problems to potential residents.
These complaints are not the typical kind of complaints people make about apartments - they are extreme complaints made by people who have been wronged.
The people who live here or who have lived here are getting their credit ruined by these collections agencies and losing their hard earned money to this place.
It is totally unjust and when you work really hard every day to earn what money you can to support your family you get pretty bitter when you have to your time and money dealing with an apartment complex that is totally messing with you and refusing to let you out of lease on an apartment that is not livable and will do nothing about your legitimate complaints and requests to be allowed to move to another apartment.
I am just hoping that I can help potential residents avoid the mistake I made when I signed the lease here b/c no one should have to go through what we are going through at the Domaine.
I am not alone - read ALL the complaints and the HUGE list of responses from other tenants who have suffered the same wrongs.
Everyone is saying the same thing over and over.
Clearly there is a problem here - there are empty apartments everywhere and many of them have been abandoned b/c people get sick of the problems.
We have not abandoned our apt b/c we are in fear that they will ruin are credit so we are stuck in this really terrible apartment paying $300 - $400 each month for electricity in an apartment that is extremely miserable.
I know two apartments that have had 3 different tenants in the past 7 months and one that is sitting empty now b/c the residents left due to the same problems were are having.
Maybe that will be the apt they offer you!!!! Ask them - how long has this apt been sitting empty and how many people have lived in this apt over the past 12 months and how much is the average electric bill and how much do I have to pay you if I need to leave before my lease expires b/c of how miserable the apt is'

This is the TRUTH 100%! I got screwed from top to bottom. The lease is not TAA because with their lease they can screw you when you want to get out of the miserable living conditions these. I had the same issues with the electric bills, the massively loud noises in the bedrooms. The list is the same!!! I have perfect credit and moved out early and paid out the lease which is B.S. I turned the main switch off to the electric. They turned it back on and sent the bill to collection even though they had a good forwarding address!!!! DO NOT MOVE HERE !!!!

Absolutely true in every way. Electric bills are equsal to your rent payment. Total screw job and they laugh all the way to the bank. Of those 260 apartments they claim are rented could only be possible by their latest background checks. You get a month free for every felony you have and you get a electric bills for the parking lights in the street and the cost of the chlorine in the pool is added in as an extra bonus. Lawncare comes when you move out, they call it miscellaneous damage to their dead grass or their mosquito infested field. That 'Ricky' of a manager couldn't manage her way out of a cardboard box much less work on helping those in need. Checkout the pool or the hottub that never works. Pathetic place to live

Exactly my point. Guys, the collection agency is begging me to pay 10% of what they originally asked. Manager asked me to pay $450 for replacing carpet..I did not pay. They are ready to settle for 10% now..but they are not gonna get even 45 cents ... Dont pay them anything when u move out becoz they charge unreasonable from everyone. Yes, from Everyone!!!
