These apartments are pretty expensive for what you get. They seem really nice on a tour, but 6 months later you're saying "What am I doing here'" Our faux hardwood floors have been coming up since we moved in. The laminate in our cabinets is peeling off. Our refrigerator has some mysterious yellow stains on the outside that you can't scrub off. Our drains are constantly backed up. And the random homeless people who ride in on the train are disturbing. The "secure locked doors" are broken half the time (is that a fire hazard'). The door to the trash chute is stuck most of the time, and the appartment staff are more interested in helping "potential customers" than the people who already live here.
The shops nearby are lame. They are more geared towards senior citizens looking for that certain tacky piece to put on the kitchen shelf. We've boycotted the Plano mini-mart since the clerk refused to give me back the dollar bill I just gave him when I returned my newspaper that was missing stuff, and instead gave me one of those annoying dollar coins that nobody wants! Jorge's Austrian Cafe sucks unless you are from Austria. (Has anyone else noticed how they are always hiring new staff') Poppy's Italian restaurant is pretty good and the service is excellent. Kelly's East Side restaurant is ok, but too expensive.
THE PARKING IS HORRIBLE! ! !
We live in the building close to the trains, and it's a 10 minute walk to the car. It's miserable when you're carying a load of groceries. The pool is too small, and what happend to the gas grill'''
The gym in our building is nothing more than a make-shift gym. The other one is ok, but too far away.
Oh yeah, skater kids!!! Eisenberg's Skate Park is EXTREMELY CLOSE. If you enjoy little Avril Lavignes screaming in the middle of the night, this place is for you.

Agree 100%, well, except for the taking 10 mins to walk to the parking garage. That's an exaggeration.
