There and good and bad things to be said for this property.
It is VERY noisy. Actually, the sirens and train and regular street noise do not bother me. What does bother me is the lack of respect that tenants have for one another. Cars honking horns in the middle of the night, peeling out, car alarms in the garage. Dogs bark at all times of the day. Personally, I don't believe that dogs should be allowed in apts. They are annoying and cause health hazards. Saturday nights people come home drunk at 2 a.m. and make no attempt to be quiet for those sleeping. Also, my neighbor likes to blast his base which is sitting on the common wall we share. It vibrates my entire apt! Some people seem to be confused that they live in an apt, not a house. Also, people's voices echo bad due to the brick streets and courtyard.
A lot of the noise frustration could be eliminated if people would have some consideration for their neighbors!
The good is that the management seems attentive, my apt is in good working condition, there are no bugs, and I enjoy living in an apt building as opposed to a traditional complex. There are also very few children and families living here which is a plus! Most people are my age --in their 20's. The security is good. Gates are always working. The fitness center is pretty good and equipment is always in order and is clean.
Restaurants nearby are tasty--Kelly's.
Another bad is the garage! It is extemely tight! And, somewhat unhandy for people who live in Phase II.
I've lived in a lot of apts, this one is one of the better ones.
