It is impossible to lay down and go to sleep at night due to noise! Most of the tenants are rude, inconsiderate goofs. I'm not sure where they work, but obviously none of them have 8-5 jobs like most normal people. They stay up all night and I can hear their tv's blaring through the paper-thin walls, they congregate in the brick lined courtyard which magnifies their voices as if they are talking through microphones, or they leave their balcony doors wide open and one can hear every word they say as their voices once again are magnified! This all goes on between the hours of midnight to about 4:30 a.m. In order to even have a chance of falling asleep, I have to run my washer/dryer to block out the noise. Of course, a washer/dryer doesn't run all night on its own, so it's not uncommon to be awakened by one of their blabbing mouths or a scream on tv at 4:30 a.m. It's like living in a college dorm! Actually, it's worse than living in college dorm, because in college dorms there are rules that are enforced.
The office really isn't concerned about noisy neighbors or doing anything about it so they will not come to your aid. There is also no courtesy officer eventhough they advertise one when you tour the property. When you move in, you will find that they are "in between" courtesy officers right now.
Take it from me,you do not want to get stuck here. Don't be drawn in by the cool, urban architecture. Some of the apts are cool, but there is also something to be said for being able to sleep at night. I'd rather sacrifice my cool apt for a good night's sleep. I still have 9 months of this misery.
And, another thing, someone spilt a Christmas dish on the floor in the hall. It is now after New Year's and the spilt Christmas dish is still on the floor. I wonder how long it will stay there until management decides to clean the floors.

Every large complex like this needs a security officer these days. I have had my vehicles broken into and vandalized 3 times now---nothing is being done about it and the front office does not care. I won't renew my lease and don't recommend living here.
