we lived in Eastside villiage , and were not happy over-all. it was a let down from what we had hoped for. there were some nice things, like location (dart line, and a few shops), and they do a great job on up keep. but the negatives were greater thann the positives. The fitness room was badly out-dated, and my friends who live there now, say that they only have one working treadmill at this time. The noise from the attached garage creates a lot of noise from the gates opening and from peoples car alarms at all hours. they badly need a security person on weekends to man the gate because people follow others into the supposedly locked gates.
the apartments are not well insulated, and so heating and cooling bills are quite high, although we were told differnetly. The carpet is badly out-dated, and not the good stain resistance stuff we have now. We found so many better choices for the money in the area...the kitchens are some of the worse i have seen . We pay the same now where we live currently and have stainless appl. ,and custom kit. for about the same price. we also have a fireplace now, and an actual balcony. at eastside ,you get a fake balcony, and only a few people actually have a balcony.

i have lived in phase 2 for 3 years and have no complaints at all. the fitness center is far from outdated and is full of machines and equipment, i never have to wait. the kitchen was one of the selling point for me, not "some of the worse", they are efficient with a great center island and wonderful wood floors - just because the appliances are white and not stainless doesnt mean they don't work fine or are not new and up to date. eastside never advertises fireplaces, so that issue is moot. as for the balcony, although they are modern and grated they are wonderful - i have two in my unit, a large one off the living room and a smaller one off the bedroom - both are functional, i spent many summer days out on the balcony with friends. i can't comment on noise because as a resident on the third floor with neighbors under me, above me, and on either side i have NEVER heard a peep from anyone thru any of my walls - an occassional fire engine in the distance is not horrible. whoever wrote this review obviously never actually lived in the apartment complex - this is an undiscovered gem where maintenance and the office staff are responsive to the needs and requests of the residents.

Fitness center did they replaced... took them 3 months like everything. NOISE is a HUGE problem. I agree people do follow you through the gate... I see trash around here ALL the time from the dart rail. There was a stabbing in the garage about a year ago in phase 2

Beningini must be with the management, because I live in Phase II which is suppose to be the nice phase and my kitchen is pointless and has no cabinet space. I am on the first floor so I have nice patio but the balconies are tini-tiny unless you have a end apartment. And the fitness center is extremely outdated and is not full of equipment. The equipment that is there is broken half the time.
