We moved in December 2004 and have finally broke down and decided to terminate the lease and get out.
We've had problems with ants nonstop since we moved in 6 months ago, and despite the complex changing pest control companies, the issue still isn't resolved. We continue to have ants throughout the kitchen and bathroom; they must be living in the walls. We've had to throw out more in food than we've probably spent in rent. Management insists there are no ants, since they never spend more than 5 seconds looking for them, therefore will not offer to do anything about it.
The very large individual upstairs paces the floor non-stop day and night (she has no job) and we can constantly hear her. Apparently these apartments are a few years old because the ceiling creaks very bad with her every footstep.
Don't bring a dog on the property. They advertise that they are a pet friendly community, but that is just another one of their gimmicks to get you to sign the lease, much like the 24 hour maintenance guarantee. Even calls to the management company didn't get anywhere with that one....
Some of the girls in the office are so high and mighty with themselves, they are impossible to talk to. They seem to enjoy sticking their noses up in the air and poo-on-you about anything you say.....
The closet size is wonderful, but don't put too much on the shelves or the clothes rack. Ours is about to fall off the wall due to shoddy craftsmanship.
Our first maintenance request resulted in the maintenance man losing the apartment key for a week before coming over to ask if we'd seen it. We had to demand that the locks be changed.
On the other hand, parking is great.
What's important to you' Easy parking, or a nice place to live'
