My husband and I lived here for roughly six months, and we had nothing but problems. When we moved in, we had three major bug infestations, roof leak, doors that would not shut, windows that would not open, and the apartment was filthy! When we reported this to the manager, we were told "Well, there is nothing we can do." We had hornets flying in through sealed windows!

The manager, Donna Nichols, is absolutely horrible. She does not handle tenant issues and places all blame for problems on the tenant. Our roof leaked for three months straight, and she did nothing about it. One of our neighbors was a heavy smoker, and the cigarette smoke seeped into our apartment. Our furniture and clothes reeked of cigarette smoke.

We moved into another community, but Echelon started preparing it for another tenant while we still had the keys and were paying rent. They did not get our permission and they were using our utilities!

Please think twice about moving here - the property looks nice but the aparments were poorly contructed. You will regret it. The manager is rude, arrogant, and could care less about the tenants or the property. She cannot keep staff on board. It should be said that the maintenance crew is very nice.

Seriously, we are still shocked at how rude Donna is - we are totally surprised that she has not been terminated for her completely unfriendly demeanor towards the tenants who pay her salary.
