Reality about Echelon

The reality is that every onsite staff takes the blame for poor construction and/or poor upper management. When you find a staff that is in perfect harmony, that means two things are going right. First and foremost a happy onsite staff indicates a low stress level and that is created by how manageable a property truly is. If it is built bad by no fault of the staff, the residents are going to lose their minds on who''' that's right, the staff. The staff takes all the blame and all the abuse created by the bad construction. Secondly, if the executive management does nothing to support the staff and instead blames them for not making "every" resident happy, yep, no harmony. It is impossible fake how bad it really is to work there all the while to be yelled at every day all day long when you go to work. How much fun do you really think the staff is having' Does the consumer/resident realize that the staff is merely in a difficult position. The staff is aware of the construction issues but unless they want to lose their income, health benefits, reputation in the industry, and their home while living onsite....they are between a rock and a hard place. Let's face it, management never tells the staff that they will be exposed to hazardous conditions, threats and abuse from angry residents, and zero support and all blame from management/owners. Do you really think the poor construction and lack of support from the owners would make you happy at your job every day' Probably not. Especially if you end up living onsite and NEVER get a chance to get away from it all. Remember, we are talking about residents that have lagitimate complaints and the staff is not allowed to support them, no mind that they are completely justified in being angry. Not fun.... Echelon sucks because of the company that use to own it and because the construction was so very poor that it was hazardous to live there. Echelon sucked because the staff was not allowed to support the residents and the owners alike. Echelon did not suck because of the staff. The staff was the only thing right about that place. The staff took so much abuse by working there that the residents were lucky to see them smile.... and I know that staff went way beyond that. That place went through 7 managers because of the construction and resident issues. CAN YOU SAY MOLD''' MANAGEMENT IS LUCKY THE STAFF DIDN'T EXERCISE THEIR LEGAL RIGHTS!!!

Boo hoo! If they don't like their jobs, they can QUIT! Their (personal) problems should not become our problems as tenants. As expensive as it is to live there, we SHOULD expect more out of the place than what's being received. I will likely not renew my lease. Love my apartment, but hate the community, especially the jerks who don't think they should pick up their dog's crap!
