SERIOUSLY DISSAPOINTED!

I was SERIOUSLY DISSPOINTED in the staff and maintenance of the amenities. The manager was a good salesperson, and very friendly up until my move-out.
Allow me to elaborate:
(1)The ?business center? usualy lacked paper & ink cartridges for the printer, nor was there ever ?internet access? the entire 6 months I lived there. (FYI: Internet access was used as a selling point).
(2)The Jacuzzi never worked the entire 6 months I lived there as well. They were always ?waiting on someone to come look at it?, ?waiting on a part?, and even ?waiting on someone to come an install the part?. I think 6 months is a bit too long to wait for a Jacuzzi to be fixed, don't you'
(3)I moved out a few days early, and asked to be present at the ?walk through??.well, the manager walked through without me a day before the 1st of the month. She charged me for cleaning (although the apt was cleaner than when I moved in), and billed me for an extra day?s rent. Why' Because my boyfriend didn?t drop the apt key off until the 1st of the month. Why is this an issue with me' Because not only did the apt manager have access to the apt prior to the first, but SHE HAD ACTUALLY HAD THE CARPET CLEANED BEFORE THE FIRST OF THE MONTH!! She had access to the apt, and she is legally obligated to change the locks everytime a tenant moves out!
(4)And the real kicker was that the apt manager turned my final move-out expenses to a Collection Agency a week, or maybe a week & ? after I moved out! Why does this upset me' I MOVED OUT OF STATE! She didn?t even allow enough time for the US Mail to deliver the report to me, and have me return a check to her!

I would be leery of anything the staff tells you or promises verbally. Get everything in writing! Make sure they make a note in your file if you change anything, and make sure and get a copy for yourself. I also had to get a new mailbox key because someone was trying to get into my mailbox (this happened after the 3rd complaing). The staff failed to note in my file that this had occurred and that they had only given me ONE new key. You guessed it?.I was charged for returning only ONE mailbox key. I?m glad I stood over them and made sure they made a note in my file that I had returned my exercise room access card....that would?ve cost me $50.

Good luck. The complex is in a good location. My apt faced Ohio Drive, so I always felt safe. Just remember->you get what you pay for.
