My hundsband and I live in Highwood in the last two years. The management is terrible and ----is sucks! This is not a safe place and my apartment has been broken for two times. It's very noisy and the Children is cazy and ran everywhere...... You can hear the rats in the wall and I had found 6 rats in my kithen...If you need anyone to repair something, you'd better wait for a few days...... The rent went up three times in the last years. Before you live here, be sure to be ready...

I have lived in the complex for a year now, and am very pleased. The office staff have always been very helpful, especially Gen. I have never seen a rat in the complex, and since they leave a notice on your door advising when they will be in your apartment for pest control, this tenant should have brought this to the attention of the extermination team. And as for children, let's get real, any apartment complex you might live in will likely have children, who play, and get noisy. If they are unsupervised, it has nothing to do with the apartment complex and their staff, but the children??????s parents who should be supervising their children, which again, you will find this in almost any complex you live in. There is only so much the staff can say to tenants regarding this matter, and kids are in school most of the time the staff is in the office. And regarding the rent increasing every year, this is not the only complex that does that. If you move in on a special, most of the time the rent will increase every year. Good luck finding an apartment that does not do that.
