My husband and I moved into this complex about a year ago. The grounds are lovely and the apartment is not bad inside (the upgrades were done a little cheaply, but whatever). It's relatively safe, had very few problems in that respect. The management was absolutely great until just recently, when they changed hands. Now they rarely answer the phone or call people back, and treat residents as less-than-important. My husband and I were all ready to upgrade to a 2-bedroom, but the management was totally flaky about letting us look at one. We have always paid rent on time and never had any complaints, so there was no reason for them not to be happy to have us. They said to come in the next day, but then said it would be three days. I called them in three days and they said they'd call back in an hour, and never did. I called them the next day, they said they'd call me back in an hour, and it took them 6 hours! Also, the other night at about 11 my husband and his friend were talking in the parking lot from their car up to the apartment, and the security guard told them that they shouldn't be out past curfew. Curfew' Really'

Because of this we just decided to move elsewhere. It's too bad, really, because besides the last few months, we were very happy here. Oh well. If you don't mind troublesome management, it's not a bad place.

I just have to say that I second what this woman is saying. My husband and I have lived here 3 years (upgraded once, and back then with the former management upgrading was easy), and have been very happy here. It is lovely and safe, with lots of nice families living here, and you get a good deal. But if you do have a problem, you might not get much help from the current management. It's really a shame. We have also been good renters -- never late with payments, keep our place in really good condition, are considerate to our neighbors, etc. So you'd think they'd want to make it easy for people like us to stay here, but sadly they're ruining it for themselves. I hope this woman and her husband find a better place. I know we are looking for one.

I have to strongly disagree. This is my second year to live here and I love it. I personally think the management has become a lot better. The manager is actually there to talk to. I know before I would call and ask to speak with the manager and she was never at the property. You cant base everything on one experience you have had. I have lived at many apts in my day and this is by far the best one. I love the office staff. I go in to see them everyday to see how they are. This really feels like home to me and I plan to spend many years here.
