Do not pick this place to live unless you like dealing with a lot of stress. You will never know how much you are supposed to pay for rent. They send you out a bill every month with the wrong price on it, then...you go to the office to ask how much you owe...and they tell you a completely different amount. Then half way through the month they will send a bill saying that you owe then 5 dollars and must pay now or risk eviction. Then when you call to inquire no one with access will be available to ever talk to you. There is no sort of organization in there billing....They add trash, water, sewer, bill processing fees that are never discussed in lease.
Secondly, they make you use the worst ever company for cable. AT&T Home Entertainment. Worst customer service ever. They don't even offer standard services that are available to everyone else. The building will not allow you to bring in your own services (ie. DISH, DirecTV)
Just don't move here....do yourself a favor. They promised me free washer/dryer for the length of my lease....yet there are charging me for it. I would talk to someone about it...but I like I said before....no one who actually works here seems to be able to help me.

Are you new to Kia Ora or something? I got a free w/d for which I am not paying and also personally have DirectTV, so make sure that you check all your facts, because you can have alternate TV service. I think that this is a great place to live! Have you expressed any of these concerns to the people in the office? I think that you should just go in to the office or something for a resolution, they are always friendly....sounds like you have some problems that can be fixed - just a thought

I would have to agree with dallasrenter06. I've lived in several apartments, and believe me - this is one of the nicer ones. I am not paying for my w/d either (for the term of my lease - they may charge me later), and my leasing agent made it pretty clear that water, trash and sewer would be based on usage and billed separately. It's not a flat rate. The manager's name is Kim. I would call and ask for her.

We have also had many problems. Their accounting is a mess! We've experienced lack of follow through, and a poorly constructed apartment - especially in the bathrooms. If you like drama, incompetence, and stress - move here.

They will allow Dish, but it's through AT&T Home Entertainment, which is a pain to work with, I will agree with that! They have poor customer service. The other complaint is that the electricity is through a Co-Op, so you have no freedom to choose. You can bring in DirectTV but the way the buildings are facing, only about 15% of the complex can get a signal.
