I moved out of Kia Ora last year...May 2008.
I wrote a review then regarding the terrible insulation in my apartment and it's affect on my utility bill.
Just to give you an example my bill in January of 2008 was $284.00 and I lived in a one bedroom apartment''' I'm on the internet right now paying my current January bill and it is $75.00 dollars.
The apartment I lived in at Kia Ora was so terribly insulated that I could feel the wind coming through the door, sliding glass doors and my windows.
Trust me there are several complexes around that neighborhood that are leagues above Kia Ora in construction and quality....don't settle for this place.

Anonymous- maybe you should pay attention to who the Manager really is
Kathy isn't the Manager but the asst! so it wasn't her who was rude to you! kathy is the most professional asst manager I have ever seen and she is very caring about everyones needs.

My opinion is my opinion...I didn't state it as a fact, and I'm not really concerned with what you (rbcjoh) or anyone else has to say. I was merely suggesting to those who live around that area to look around before committing to this place....personal opinion if you don't like it too damn bad!

I have lived here for a year and I am moving out due to the high cost of electricty. Kathy is very nice, I really like her however the new manager is not very affalble she seems really fake. I wish Kim the old manager was back. We also had community events all of which stopped when the new manager came in.
