My problems with La Costa have run the gamut, with management only barely faking an interest in helping. From violent crime in the complex to total cessation of resident trash services, the kicker was the eviction notice I received recently --- this in spite of the cancelled check I produced, showing that I'd not only paid rent on time, but La Costa had already cashed the check. The office was nothing short of disdainful in their lack of assistance, and the corporate owners never even responded to my multiple phone calls until a week after the fact. The matter was ultimately resolved, but only after numerous unnecessarily ugly comments from management, and not to mention their steadfast refusal to accept responsibility for or even acknowledge their mistake.
