I don't live at La costa but, They don't inforce the rules. Their is a person who sets their barbeque grill off in the evenings on the flames and smoke get high. I have complained to the management about this and the police. They also dumb their trash onto their neightbors below it was charcoal dirt.The police said it is a fire department problem since it is a fire ordinace this person is breaking. I guess everyone will finally do something when they burn the place to the ground. I was actually told by 911 that I would have to call back tomorrow unless they started a fire. I'm glad I don't live in that getto neighborhood. since no one else cares or wants to be responsible for this stupid individual. I hope all of you that live there have renters insurance because you will probably need it if you live in or near their building.

Jessica, I talked to someone last week at la costa. I drove over there and the person in the front did not know which apartment I was talking about. I said the last one in the back. She said to call the police which I did and they did nothing they said it is a fire department matter. when I called them they said It had to be burning down for them to come out? What is wrong with these people. They could have told her to stop that it is a fire ordiance and in her lease not to have a barbeque grill or to light it on her patio. Wednesday, I called sonja who talked to me and found out which apartment it was we told her the number and she went into the back and looked. She said she was going to send them a violation letter. I hope this works.I don't live there but close by and can see it. I just don't want anyone to be harmed by this unresponsible, inconsiderate person. We can't have a barbeque grill on our patio and mind the rules and she should to. She should care more about her nieghbors that she does.I will try to call you or come by soon. Hope all goes well.
