THIS IS THE WORST PLACE YOU COULD EVER MOVE INTO. APARTMENT HUNTERS BEWARE. THEY HAVE AWFUL CUSTOMERS SERVICE, THEY STAFF KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT THE APARTMENT COMPLEX LET ALONE THE LEASE THEY HAVE YOU SIGN. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF INCOMPETANT MONKEYS IN MY EYES. THEY WILL LIE TO YOU IN YOUR FACE, RIP YOU OFF, AND OVER CHARGE YOU. THEY MANAGEMENT IN THE OFFICE IS EVEN MORE HORRIBLE. YOU CAN NEVER SPEAK TO THE OFFICE MANAGER JESSICA AND EVEN HER ASSISTANT MANAGER PATTI IS NOT HELPFUL EITHER SHE IS JUST AS BAD AS JESSICA. THEY WONT COMUNICATE WITH YOU. THEY CHARGE YOU OUTRAGEOUS FEES FOR WATER AND TRASH. WHEN YOU QUESTION THEM ABOUT IT THEY JUST TELL YOU THAT THE CITY OF PLANO WENT UP ON THIER FEES AND SO DID THEY. ARE YOU SERIOUS'! THEY DONT LET YOU KNOW WHEN CHANGES ARE ABOUT TO TAKE PLACE IN THE APARTMENTS. I HAVE EVEN WALKED INTO MY APARTMENT ONCE BEFORE AND FOUND A MANTAINCE MAN IN THERE WHEN HE WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE AND I HAD NOT PLACED A WORK ORDER. AGAIN DO NOT MOVE OVER HERE THESE ARE JUST SOME OF THE MANY PROBLEMS I WENT THROUGH WHEN I WAS LIVING HERE SO BEWARE. ALTHOUGH THE PRICE MAYBE DECENT ITS NOT WORTH ALL THE DRAMA AND HEADACHE YOU WILL ENDURE WHILE LIVING HERE.

I've lived here a year and a half. I won't argue about what this poster experienced. He is really angry. This is no Taj Mahal, but it is not THAT BAD. Office staff have been pretty polite to me and one even called me by name the other day. As a long-time apartment dweller, all over the Dallas area, my experience with apartments is they all have various problems that come with apartment dwelling. If you approach staff with a reasonable attitude, you can usually get some reasonable results back. With that said, if you get attitude or rudeness anywhere, I think it is okay to inquire about it: "You seem indifferent to me right now and it makes me uncomfortable. Did I say something wrong?" Or "Do you think it is unreasonable for me to expect an answer about ----------?" Or "Is my request unreasonable, or should I expect some information about this from you soon?" These approaches will usually get them to realize that you are thinking about it in a reasonable way. Also, they all know that if you are reasonable and don't get reasonable results, you can take it up at a higher level. I have had no problem getting in touch with manager Jessica, and I can't imagine any apartment manager that can't be reached. I don't like name-calling, which is verbal abuse, and anger does not justify it. We are all humans, and most people are doing the best they can. My suggestion is for this poster to try holding back the anger for a more thought-out approach.

I lived at lacosta for a few years now and i can understand what the poster is saying about the very poor customer service and communtication from the office. It seems that all that leasing agent are trained to play dumb and tell you that jessica is not aviliable i have had this happen on more than one occasion. And as for the trash policy its a JOKE but what can u do either take it your self or pay the cost for valet. I have never been in to the office with a bad attitude but it dosent seem to matter cause they give you the run around either way.
ALL IN ALL THE APARTMENTS ARE CHEAP AND YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR I'M LOOKIN TO BREAK ME LEASE AND MOVE ASAP.
