The hardwood floors in the loft-style apartments act like amplifiers, allowing upstairs tenants to inadvertantly torment their downstairs neighbours. Extra insulation was added during my tenancy, but it didn t help. The management appears to be too busy to give much consideration to noise complaints (even when the noise draws complaints from tenants across the street), but they handle other requests efficiently. Aside from the noise, the apartments are comfortable and well-designed.
