I've been reading some of these postings and I must admit, some of you people must be whiney babies, spoiled rotten, or just totally detached from reality.

I've lived here 2.5 years and I have never experienced all this rudeness from the office, ants, untolerable noise, cruddy constuction, etc that you folks are squawking about. Yeah, there is an occasional drunk chick talking way too loudly in the parking lot at 4 am on the weekends, but drunk chicks are everywhere. This is an apartment community. You give up your rights to total privacy in some idyllic living sanctuary when you sign your lease. Noise happens. We live in a noisy world. Of couse, you may hear something through a wall, but that's why you have the freedom to either turn your TV on, or politely ask your neighbors to keep it down. Most people respond amazingly well to kindness.

As far as the comment I read about all the residents here being unfriendly, I would agree with that at times, but again, if we all just determined to be nice to each other, no matter how others act in return, that problem would be fixed. Unfriendliness in more of a Dallas-wide issue anyhow, not a Legacy Village problem.

Folks stop ranting on how your apt. living experience is not the private mansion in Willowbend you had hoped for (What are all these other people doing in MY space' ME ME ME ME ME!) Part of apartment living is sharing, being a good neighbor, being flexible and cooperative. Newsflash: It's not all about YOU.

Legacy Village is one of the best apartment communities I have lived in. It's a good value. It looks nice. They keep it well groomed. It's the only hip and trendy area in Plano. The management is extremely courteous and quick to respond. I've been quite content living here.

I have only one gripe: No hot tubs--I've got a bad back and sometimes have to walk across the street and sneak into Mariott Courtyard's hot tub when I need one. Other than that, I have been very pleased.

Advice: Before you go online and blast people to smithereens, you ought to do a little introspection and ask yourself if you are adhering to the same set of exemplary conduct that you are expecting from everyone else. Until then, exercise a little restraint and work on elevating your selfish attitudes.

John LaCarter just cause your 34 single doesn't give you the right to call people detached. I posted an older message about legacy and it is true what I said, its annoying people rude management and so forth just aren't living up to the image it try's to convey..I would think that one in the creative business would tell that. Truth be told no place is perfect but I think your telling it with out the truths of the downside, and that is about construction sucking and about parking sucking. People are rude, but I can tell you I live in Dallas now, and I won't ever go back to Plano, the sticks up peoples asses in Plano is ridiculous. So John seriously don't right nice little comments about a place that doesn't deserve it. They suck, you suck get over it dude. Hey you still got that Miata? haha J-la

another alcoholic martini bar freak! just tell the truth and say i dont give a damn where i park and i dont care if my house is a mess and no1 comez to fix it after u reported it there are FAMILIES living here MR.Double shot! The only good thing about this place is that its full of girls and women walking with their dogs at any given time of any given day of week! u go out there for a walk and u r guaranteed to meet a few of 'em EDS should just buy the whole thing and use it for their own employees!
