Not a bad deal

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
I moved into Legends last June, rather hurredily as I had come down from the northeast and needed to get out of my hotel. It's quite a bit further from my work than I'd like, but I wasn't familiar with DFW at the time and understood this to be a good, safe neighborhood.
Because I was so far from work, I had intended to move when my lease was up. Yes, 60 days seems a bit excessive, but it seems the majority of complexes around here use that (some are 30). I looked to the areas south, and found nothing that was as good a value in as nice of an apartment. I decided to renew for 10 months more.
I have had some maintenance issues, but all have been filled in a reasonable time for whatever that repair was. Overall, I find the apartment to be quiet, in good condition, and roomy. My biggest complaint is that sugar ants have plagued me for much of the summer. By keeping a closer watch on crumbs in the kitchen and getting the cat's food off the floor, I've managed to mostly styme this.
It is true that the gates have been broken a bunch in the past few months, but really, gates keep out the law-abiding citizens...
I would recommend Legends as a good place to live, provided the aera is right for you.
