We have been living at the Legends since 2003. Ownership of the legends was wonderful prior to new management taking over mid 2006. The new management team at first was better than the old management we knew, however they were only there for less than 2 months. Now there is a young asian guy called Johnny who is supposedly the new manager and another lady called Kim who are both very incompetent. Fortunately the Legends is located in Plano which is a very safe and pleasant place to live. However, this new management leaves a lot to be desired. We paid our rent when we moved from one apartment to a smaller one just recently and their administration lost all those receipts and sent us a letter in the mail requesting us to Vacate in 48 hours!!! I got so sick that night, I went to Johnny the next day to prove we had paid the month in advance prior to moving into the new apt and informed him that we had been at the Legends since 2003 and that we had NEVER been late paying our rent and that they should have reviewed our "impeccable" payment experience prio to sending out letter. He appologized because it was an administrative mistake and I told him "being sorry does not cut it!". I got very sick the evening I arrived from home only to find a letter saying we had to vacate and we had just moved in 2 weeks prior and PREPAID the current and next month rent expenses!!! How irresponsible is that! I requested management to send me an appology letter and informed Johnny if they were going to treat all of the tenants that way that they would be in serious trouble. He said he was not going to send us an appology letter, that saying "sorry" should be enough. Great place to live, however, current management is really bad and unprofessional and needs to be replaced immediately by caring and outgoing customer care representatives.
