This is the truth. I'm actually on this website looking at reviews for Addison Circle (btw, the consenus there is much much worse), but I was curious to see what people said about Lincoln, which I lived at for a year.
Look, use judgment when reading people's reviews; common sense will tell you that it's usually angry people who, perhaps due to their own ill-behavior/character, have experienced "bad things" here, there, and the next place they move to. You can tell by their tone who these people are.
So here's my experience at Lincoln: Management is professional; maintenance is reliable; units are what you would expect in terms of quality; complex is kept up (and I never saw crap laying around either); parking was usually a problem at night, otherwise not a problem at all); the complex is extremely peaceful until you are blessed with noisy party neighbors (but, c'mon); rent might be slightly too high, but I think the location justifies it.
Lincoln is a good place to live (at least it was when I was there)

This reviewer has more negative to say about this property than he/she does positive. I wonder why he rates it so well? I'd say to anyone reading these reviews, just go walk the property and you'll see for yourself what all of the negative reviews are talking about. This reviewer must assume that since his experience was "adequate", that this pertains to all of the other tenants on this huge property. What the reviews help you the curious reader do, is to prevent you from signing a long-term lease at a property that will let you down at every turn. A 43% rating is pretty bad, so definitely move forward with caution. I lived at the Linclon for over a year and am now pleased to say the propery I live at now has 19 reviews and is at 100%. It is good to know there are still great apartments out there!

The person who wrote these comments probably never lived in a bldg. with ongoing problems-Who rents an upstairs apt. to a tenant that has 2 or more dogs (one weighing over 140 lbs?) noise? yes, it sounds like adults running back and forth all night long!

try living on the 3rd floor and hearing dogs -sometimes more than two running next to your apt. and listening to 2nd floor neighbors dogs - big labs bark at all hours at night. I feel sorry for the people on the bottom floor that get to hear all of it. Nobody in my building wants to complain either because we've heard the same thing happening to others that have happened in our building. Some people may think that it is a tenant that is disgruntled. I could care less if the office girls are drunks (yep, I live next to one she's a real cheap girl) but someone should get a clue if so many people have merely just complained about the drinking staff (I mean office staff) I have never gone in to complain because I've heard too many of my dear (even elderly neighbors) who are not disgruntled say the office girls have no manners and are tarts )to say it nicely)
