Not energy efficient at all From: WannaMove99 Date posted: 3/31/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   We currently live in one of the Townehouse style apartments (3 bedroom). They are VERY drafty; lots of air gaps around windows and doors. Electric bill, even in the winter and barely running the heater, was $300 . If the sun is shining, the all the windows on the south side of the townhome heat up a LOT and basically heat the apt for you. In the summer this is horrible since the A/C has to work a lot. Also, as another reviewer said, rats in the garage are a big problem. I both poison at Home Depot and put it all over to combat the issue. Water heater is also small (too small for a 3 bedroom apt) so you run out of hot water pretty quickly with a family trying to shower in the mornings.
