I have never had a worse experience with an apartment than I have here. The apartments are nice and reasonably priced. However, the services provided suck!
They have no options for cable, internet or phone service. They deal strictly with SBC and there is no way around it. (and when the service is bad that becomes a major problem)
Why would they do that' it costs more than cable and we can only use one phone service even when there are plenty of companies that service that area we are limited to one.
They only have 2 trash compactors and they are on oposite ends of the property. When I signed my lease I never thought about it because they said that they had valet trash service M,W, and F included in the rent. Then one day they just stopped the service and started sending out fines for leaving the trash in the designated place. They say that they will complete work orders in 24 hours but I am yet to see that happen. When you call the office with a problem they are always rude!
Parking is a joke! they do not have assigned parking however they do have garages for $80.00 a month or a covered space for $60.00 a month but why would you use these when they are inconvenient' the garages are the furthest things from the buildings and covered parking is a waste of money. I know 3 people who had there cars towed for not using there garages! If you have a garage they make you use it or they will tow your car! and then you have to pay to get your car out of the towing lot which is like 45 minutes away and costs @$250.00!
We do have a gated community but the gate is ALWAYS broken! they changed the code and all the gate opening openers stopped working and they did not order enough for everyone to have one so that was a desaster because no one could get through the gates.
They tell you a day before scheduled maintnance that they will be in your apartment and they do that by placing a flier on your door stating that they will be in your apartment the following day.
I would not recommend this apartment to anyone.

I agree for the most part, but I feel the need to point out some inconsistencies: - I have had the same gate remote for 3 years, and it has always worked. Never been a day when it hadn't. - I have a garage and I have never been ticketed or threatened to move my car from a resident spot. Good thing, cause I would go Chuck Norris on them if they tried. My garage is used for my bike, can't exactly fit my car in there, too. Everything else, I agree with.
