I currently live in Los Rios and I can not wait until my lease is up here..... for one the racoons are just plain ridiculous and every where and they dont care if you try to scare them...... two the people who live under me are always complaining every time we walk across our floor or have company walking or just plain trying to live in the unit that we pay for. Always check the noise poplution before you move into a apartment if they are not made good then the noise will sound terrible when in reality the people are barely moving. The person who lives above me sounds like they are fighting everyday and somebody is getting their butts kicked but I am sure that its not true because I know how badly made the apartments are. The management it great and do their best to try to resolve all the situations but it is only so much they can do when the tenents are just plain stupid. If you are looking for total quiet GET A HOUSE do not move into apartments with 3 and 4 bedrooms available because that usually means people have kids!!!!!! Dont colplain everyday and make it look like those people are just making noise on purpose they deserve to be able to live comfortably just as you do......you chose the first floor now oyu have to put up with a little noise.

I totally agree with you. I live on the third floor and for the most part my stay here at Los Rios hasn't been so bad. I do have parking issues and this gets very annoying, I pay so much for rent I can't even begin to start paying for a covered shed or a garage, so I have just dealt with the parking issues. Also I haven't had many complaints far as noise, and I have three children and we have not had any complaints from neighbors thus far. My neighbor under me he is hardly ever their and we have met on several occasions and he tells me all the time that we are okay. I think for the most part when people start complaining about the noise level this is just simply a communication gap, instead of running to the office or calling the patrol police just go and knock on your neighbors doors and just let them know that they are being a little too loud and could they calm down a bit. I think by doing this it will make a difference and people will try and get along for the most part. Far as management I haven't had a problem with them really at all, I pay my rent and im out. I don't really deal with them, and when I need maintenance it's usually just a simply phone call and the matter is handled within about 48 hours. Now another complaint that I have besides the parking is the Pesticide guy who comes and sprays the apartments that sucks he isn't doing a darn thing and it doesn't help at all I still see critters in my kitchen to where I have had to spray myself for it to work. But overall apartment living isn't the best living, if you want peace and quiet and don't want to share critters with anyone get a house or stop complaining.

No apartment is perfect. Shoot the racoons and retalliate the noise with more noise of your own.
