When I first moved into the Madison at Chase Oaks, I was astounded by the friendly service, atmosphere and quality of the grounds, staff, and apartment. Each time I had a probelm, the staff would be very helpful and couteous. The best example was when my on-line billing check did not reach them due to the mail. When I talked to the staff, they were understanding of the situation and wiaved the late fees because it was a postal service error. Back then, I would have highly recommended the apartment as it was a great place to live. Today, however, the attitude towards service has changed. The grounds have been repainted, but the color choices do not match, the notification about when they were painting was not useful because they never came to paint the days listed on the letter. This was a hassle as a dog owner because I had to find a second home for my pet not for one day like they told me, but for two extra days. The staff's attitude towards customer's has also changed to nothing but by the book, and uncaring. Notices have decreased to one notice before the notice to vacate and you will receive that first notice after the office has already closed for the day so you won't be able to call to get clarification. It is sad actually how I am now looking forward to moving out of the Madison because they were great apartments at one time, too bad management has taken them downhill.
