Great area, semi-high rent, noisy

When I lived at McDermott Place, we were forced to use U.S. Online for DSL, Phone, and cable. So, I got Dish Network instead. When I moved, U.S. Online went bankrupt and turned the internet and cable services over to Comcast. Now why couldn't they have done this when I lived there'
The rent was a little high. The neighborhood is great. Management is so-so, slow-moving. If you have a unit exposed to Independence Pkwy, it is VERY noisy! Also, our apartment had west/south exposure and was VERY hot. Our electric bill for an 1159 sq. ft. unit was $100-136 /month during the summer.
Kitchen cupboards were a joke. We had to angle our dinner plates just (normal size) to fit them in any of the cupboards.
Overall, not too bad. I would've felt like I was getting my money's worth if I were paying around $700-750/month and not $825/month.
