I have lived at McDermott Place since May 2001. I started out in a 938 sq. ft. 1 bedroom and after I found out that I was expecting moved to the 1391 sq. ft 2 bedroom. I love this place and plan on staying her until I buy a home. The office staff is very easy going and comfortable to talk to about anything probelm or not. The maintenance staff has always been timely when correcting in service request as well as friendly. The look of the community is fantastic. You feel like you are living in a beautiful condo rather than an apartment. The features inside are like a custom home. In response to that e-mail, I have 4 sets of dishes for different occasions. That's 12 plates, 12 bowls & 12 salad plates. Some are oddley shaped. They all fit in 1 cabinet. My electric bill does range between $100 to $150, but it is 1391 sq. ft and my husband and I fight over the temp so our a/c - heater does alot of work. I think it is great compared to what I have paid in the past. We did have US Online for cable, but it is now Comcast. I choose not to comment because everyone has a different issue with every company. My husband personally is very happy about Comcast. I think the the rent is reasonable. After all you get what you pay for and it is advertised as a luxury community. My friends and family have always been in awe of my home here. That includes the landscaping, pool area, fitness center, garages & playground. Like I said, I love it here.
