Trash is a problem!

I have lived at Mcdermott for 1 year (going on 2) when we first moved in there weren't a lot of people here and pretty much had our pick of apartments. We were told that the complex had a "curtisy curbside trash pickup," well now we know why.....there is only one trash facility at this complex......for the whole complex and our apartment is near it. Tenants were piling their trash up on the ground, do to the fact that it's a trash compactor and management is the only one to run it, which in the summer was really bad......and don't get me started about the birds dear lord. Then the so called "curtisy pickup became manditory"......ummmm hello the word curtisy means if you would like, not you have to. Not only that but they put a fence up, padlocked it, and then threatend us with a fine if we what.........take our trash out. I sent a letter to them and they did attempt to give us a alternative to the manditory curbside pickup (only 3 days a week) by allowing us to put it in the rocky area. Ummmmm, I don't understand why they just can't get another trash can because so far there are still people placing their trash on the ground outside of the fence. And the fine is 50.00 per bag of trash that you leave. I hate to tell them but most of the people that live here haven't been dropping off couches, and frigerators, and such. I have watched people wait outside the gate for someone to let them in and watched them unload a bunch of bags of stuff and furniture. It's an apartment your not going to be able to stop that from happening and punishing the people that keep this place in the green is not the solution. So how about you use some of that extra space where you allow people to park their boats and trailers and make it useful for a TRASH CAN!

I somewhat agree. curtisy is spelled -> courtesy by the way.

Dont know what to say
The office people there do whatever they want
They even choose people to be their tenants. That means they change their rent price anytime in a day. They dont care whatever. So sad!
