Lots of Noise but Deaf Ears

I'm a long time resident, and after reading a few reviews, felt I should make a few comments. Floor plans, great. Location and schools, great. After that, things have gone downhill for a few years. I'd like to give the new manager a chance, but the old manager, and regional manager have left the place in pretty bad shape, and resident morale, which was great, is now non-existent. The property used to have the Cares team, a couple, that coordinated resident events, breakfasts, dinners, usually 3 per month, where over 100 residents attended per event. That program is gone, and instead the clubhouse has new starbucks looking furniture, and a pool table, which no one uses. Looks great to prospects, but useless to residents. The business center is a total joke, 2 pc's, 1 broken with virus errors for months, because the virus checker expired and Management didn't/wouldn't pay for the upgrade. Both printers, down, because Management doesn't/won't pay for replacement toner. All of this equipment has been down for months. Residents wait in line to use the pc's.
For prospects, ask the leasing agent who lives upstairs, downstairs or next to you.
You will hear the dish washer, washer/dryer, and a lot of noise depending on your neighbor. I have the recent bad luck of having the leasing aces place a single mother with a 5 year old child, 2 dogs, and a cat on the second floor above my unit. None of which are a problem, unless the dogs chase the child across the apartment at all hours, or the dogs need to go out, which means they run up and down the stairs, till they get out. Sounds like a herd of stampeding cattle through the walls, again at all hours.
The Deaf Ears part of my review title comes from talking to the leasing folks about my noise problem , they referred me to the Assistant Manager who I spoke to on at least 3 occasions , who referred me to the Manager who said she would look into it. After 2 months of complaining and asking the Management to talk to the resident, nothing has changed. Deaf ears to complaints/needs.
Thats about it, I am hoping that the new manager addresses the maintenance issues as well, lots of things are breaking down, its now an 8 year old community. Lastly, watch where you step in the grass areas, residents are not good about cleaning up dog droppings, but my guess is that the City of Plano will probably address that.
Good luck.

You have the nail on the head!Leasing agents are primarily interested in renting units not service anymore.
As I told the manager when I LEFT THE CALIBER OF NEW RESIDENTS WAS NOT GOOD.Also the property was going down hill because it was not being maintained.and smiles and excuses was not th answer to the problem.
A new manager will not help unless the new approach is service and concern for residents.
