Infested with Rodents

The complex is infested with mice. They enter through the attached garages and there are wholes in the walls behind the kitchen appliances. The staff don't seem to take the issue very seriously. We have trapped two within the last nine days and at least one got away.
There was also a security incident involving an attack on a female resident in August 2007.
The walls are paper thin and I have had to call the police and late night security to make the neighbors turn their music off. Not to mention that I can hear the voices of my next door neighbors.
I cannot wait to move and may even stay in hotel until my lease expires.

Lived here?

I used to live in Building 2 and had major Ant issues, but no mice. Now in building 5 we had a flea problem along with all the rain, they treated our building and they seemed to go away. Sure the walls are paper thin, what do you expect? Its apartments! I occasionally hear the people above us having "activities" and often hear hoodlums partying in various buildings nearby 5. If you want quiet apartments are a lost cause. As far as pests go, they should definately take better action on that. We complained several times, it took a month till they sprayed for fleas.

Man I lived their when they first opened. Because of new construction back then I thought they came from the fields near by. But after readung this years later, their is a rodent problem. I caught alot more than 2. I would put a trap out on my kitchen counter and evry night for 2 weeks I caught one. I requested to be moved and it took some time and they did it. Next apartment I had a wall full of bee's. They had to open the wall and their were thousands of bee's in the wall. Before we would always get one or two in the windows but we never had the windows open. I have pictures, it was terrible. They are still a horribl complex. Thanks

Well, while I have seen a mouse running around the outskirts of the property, I don't live on the bottom floor. So, that may be why I haven't experienced any mice in my apt. I've lived here for over 2 years and have had very few problems. I may have been lucky, but I can never hear any of my neighbors talking. I can, occasionally, hear my upstairs neighbor walking around (like an elephant), but that's something that I've experienced in a lot of apartments. The office staff is generally pretty helpful and the few maintenance problems that I've had (battery for alarm system and water-pressure in the sink) were both resolved the same day I put in the request. I haven't had any bees or rodents, so I don't have those complaints. All in all, I'd say the apartments are pretty nice (at least mine is).
