I will agree probably 90% of the comments liste don this site, both the good & bad.
This property has been very quiet up until about a year ago. Now it seems like they will let just about anyone become a resident! In the past 2 weeks I have had a strange person ask to use my phone so that they could call their Mom and beg for groceries, and then tell me how they just moved in and don't have the money for next months rent, and had a neighbor throw a party for about 50 people with the bass literally chaking my walls at midnight.
I asked to have my back door replaced 2 years ago because it was cracked and mushrooms would grow everytime we got a good rainstorm. They came and caulked the door instead. When asked if a new could be ordered they said that the door would have to be shaved down because it was an odd size and that we would have it in a few months. Well, two years later we still don't have a new door. However, if Todd comes to do your maintence requests, you will be fine. He is a really nice person.
The hot water gets shut off about every month for either a full day or a half day because the hot water line right in front of my apartment breaks (on Beechwood.... this the 15th time this particular line has been fixed since I have lived here). Then you have people using a jackhammer 10 feet from your front foor for a solid 4 hours.
The recently had a run in with the new management staff... I needed them to fax over a copy of my rental history so that I could move at the end of this lease. I was yelled at by one the leasing manager and then when I spoke to actually manager of the property, she said she would take care of it. Fours day later, I go to the office (with my two children) and walk into the leasing manager and one of the leasing consultants having a screaming match while the manager watching from about 5 feet away. Here is is, 1 and a half weeks later, my rental history still hasn't been given to my (hopefully) new apartment complex and when i ask the manager why it hasn't been taken cae of, she tells me that the new property isn't giving her what she needs. By this point i get upset and she proceeds to refuse to give me her supervisors information and then hangs up on me.
If you had have asked me a year ago, I would have recommended this property in a heartbeat. The units are big and the price is great. However, after having the horrible service and the many problems I have had over the past few months, I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone. Well, unless you are looking at a temporary place to save some money before moving to something better.
