I have been here 3 months and waited before making this review. 1) realize that some posts may be by a small group, so take these reviews with a grain of salt. This complex has a large number of negative reviews and that should make you cautious. 2) The model apartment shown was far superior to the actual apartment. These units are built with some bad choices in cabinets, A/C, bathroom, flooring. INSPECT the unit BEFORE you rent. Some are better than others. I had to switch units. The second unit was acceptable. Check for foundation problems (cracks in brick facade, uneven floors). 3) You pay rent (and they list an unrealistic BIG rent on the lease with a monthly "concession" to bring it back to market price) and electric, and pro-rated water. All water/hot water is on a central system. The unrealistic rent is done in case you break your lease or they need to recover damages. Personnaly I think it is Unfair Trade Practices/illegal. 4) Overall the place is a good deal. The rent is good for the square footage, the buildings are ok, the neighbors are ok, no car break-ins or police cruisers to date, maintenance is ok but they do sloppy work. 5) Report maintenance problems and expected repair date using certified return receipt mail. Read your lease. 6) You need your own washer and dryer. Their wash rooms are health hazards. 7) Sublet rather than break the lease.

My whole family lived there and our apartments were jokes, there was nothing healthy at all about them.
My brother in law, (gonna make this short), cracked front door, roaches, leaking tub that went into his dining room onto the ceiling fan, LOT of black mold, a ceiling fan not put up in bedroom so just wires hanging.
My place. Short again. Roaches (bigger than a quarter), sliding door that didnt shut right so it didnt lock.
My parents. short again. they didnt have a roach problem but they had part of their roof fall off onto their patio (the area out the sliding door) and it was a big peice that could of killed someone if they were outside. took the complex over a month to clean it up!
I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone but you must of gotten one of the apartments that got burned so they had to put new everything in them.......
