Much to the same point of another person's comment, the only apartment you will see is a very outdated furnished "model" apartment. This serves the purpose to think you're going to get your $$ worth. WRONG!!! This property was built in 1968, which I'm sure at the time was quite a place worthwhile. Not anymore! The people in the leasing office are snobs. They WILL NOT attend to any issues you have with your apartment. It was 5 weeks ago we got terrential rains. I opened the door in the ceiling (yes ceiling) to the heater and got a face full of water from a horrible leak. I have yet to have anyone come fix the leak, which is surely turning into mold in the ceiling by now! My sliding door also leaks. I have cockroaches, mice, ants, and many other creatures that decide this complex is a good place to reside. Raccoons regularly tear apart trash that the complex threatens to fine people for. The children are very destructive of the tennants that live in this complex. My building has been written on with permanent marker. I have mud slung all over the side of my patio fence. The chimney I have is peeling paint, therefore lots of fun for kids to throw things at and see paint fly off. Some gang slang was spray painted on one of the buildings and poorly covered up with what looks like primer. Great eye sore.
If you are numb to your surroundings, want to pay for something that's poorly insulated and feel like you moved into a trailer park this is the place for you! I had to nail a blanket around the windows to keep the cold out!! You can expect to pay utilities such as you would in a real house. Ridiculous. Don't be alarmed if you see objects at the bottom of the pool as it's just those unattended children throwing things again. Had one neighbor move in one Friday and she was gone by the following Monday it was so bad! Don't rent here!!! Be warned of Graystar properties. Poor management, upkeep and rent!
