I generally like this apartment a lot but recently a water pipe burst in the middle of the night flooding a few apartments (including my own) with what smelled and looked like sewage water. Accidents happen but Management did little to resolve the situation. It took them several days to clean my apartment (which still smells terrible from the water) and they refused to pay the $77 for a hotel I had no choice but to sleep in that night. My apartment was flooded from 1:30 am until 5 am. They would not even pro-rate out the night my apartment was uninhabitable from my rent.

In some cases renters insurance won't cover you if the damages were indirect. So smarty pants - I do beleive the apartments management should take some responsibility to help a tenant that is displaced due to their fault. It's the right thing to do! I would sue the hell out of them. I was displaced by a fire caused by my neighbor and my apartment mgmt put me up in a vacant apartment the next day. I just moved to Dallas and I'm looking for an apartment. Knowing something like this would not encourage me to live here. There are too many apartments in Dallas and the Plano area to deal with apartment managers that treat tenants like crap. Don't think we don't recognize when managers respond on these websites. The best thing to do is encourage tenants that are happy with your mgmt to put positive reviews on this site. Don't try to disguise yourself smart ass!
