Worst Apartment Management Ever

I needed to break my lease, and had been told one thing verbally upon move-in, but found another to be true when I read the fine print.. I ended up getting ripped off, in my opinion.
None of my deposit was refundable (remember - "non-refundable deposits" are not exactly legal), and yet it would have been too much hassle to get the deposit back. I had a cable box in the apartments that I was unable to get out, which I assume that the apartment management threw out. When I told the management that I was planning on leaving, they were as unhelpful as possible so that they could scam me out of more money.
I hope that I never have to deal with Archstone again. This could have been a much easier and less stressful situation if they had cared more about their tenants - even if someone has to break their lease, they may have good reason for it, and may be good tenants in the future. Never make your customer base angry - its always bad practice.
