My wife and I lived here for 3 years and were completely ready to renew for a 4th year until a new manaagement company ( the 3rd in 3 years ) took over.
The new management company sold our financial information to a religious organization without our permission. When we confronted them on this we received a notification the very next day that our rent was going up 14% if we renewed our lease.
We tried to contact their corporate office and the owner of the property but none of our phone calls were returned.
We promptly gave 67 days notice that at the end of our lease we were not going to renew.
We then went and found a new apartment applied 60 days in advance and were approved and looking forward to never dealing with this management team again.
As of this moment we have 10 days to vacate our apartment and have just been notified by our new apartment that they are declining our lease because our old apartment called them and told them we were "undesireable".
So its back out today to find another apartment and just hope that they don't continue their malicious attitude towards us.

Please get your facts strait. The management would not have the ability to "sell" your personal information to anyone. Nor would a community base your approval on what a current managment office thought or their oppinion of you. Having been in the business for 10 years. No company would risk their integrity or legal action just to "get even". The management companies this property has had have been of higher class.

Sounds like a bit of a strange rebuttal, considering "Callie06" can't manage to spell "straight" correctly. Makes you wonder how accurately she has her facts . . .

There is every possiblity of them, or one of their employees, selling personal information. Apartment managers do things all the time without regard to the possible repurcussions to their reputation. It is also possible that the management, or even an employee without their knowledge, would be nasty for revenge or just for no reason. Don't be so naive as to think that just because these people work in this profession that they are qualified or mature enough to do it properly.
