NEVER MOVE HERE

As soon as my lease is over, I'm moving. The staff is unbearable and maintenance is ridiculous. There's break-ins at the mailbox too often. The security is horrible. The plano cop, or "courtesy" cop which is a joke, who lives on site is more concerned about how the complex looks then actually making it secure. They have no concern for the residents, only making money. They are so desperate for new tenants they are offering a $500 referral this month. The bugs are pretty bad, you'll kill a quite a few a day. Parking is horrible, unless you like to hike. The amenities is a small room with a few equipment machines, some which don't even work, and a set of weights. The on-site laundry is four washers and dryers. I could contine on for a while. I realize there are pluses and minuses to every apartment complex, however I keep coming across more and more minuses. Please save your self a head and grief by not choosing this complex at all costs.

Dear Anonymous,
I lived at the Preserve for quite a while and would never have left if I hadn't moved out of state. The "courtesy" cop is just that. . . a "courtesy." I was happy having him around, but crime can happen just about anywhere unless you lock yourself in an iron box and never leave. As to the staff being unbearable, I find that hard to believe. They were always extremely courteous to me. I was also very happy with the amenities. While I didn't work out, my boyfriend was in the fitness center daily and was happy with the equipment. I also enjoyed having access to the business center too. My recommendation regarding the laundry is to rent your own set. That's what I did and the convenience was worth the small monthly cost.
I just want those who are thinking of moving in to know that I was supremely happy there and I would recommend it to anyone I know in the area. I miss it!
