I have lived in apartments in Plano since 1999, and Reserve at Charles Place is by far the worst apartment I have had the misfortune to live in. The maintenance setup (calling a phone number to a call center in Houston, TX!) is ridiculous - because you have to wait for the Houston call center to convey your request. The office staff is not helpful at all - they're responses are always canned responses or simply "that's the way Trammell Crow does it." They totally misrepresented the apartment we would receive, never telling us that we would be subject to price gouging from their satellite installer. There are numerous large dogs here in breeds that we were told were off limits: pit bulls, rotweilers, and a standard poodle that is larger than a great dane! People walk their dogs OFF the leash all the time. Consequently, one cannot use the one-mile walking sidewalk around the complex because of people and their stupid, unleashed dogs! There are numerous kids running unsupervised daily, and one group of boys playing basketball in the street will not even move when you come around the corner. This has been one of the most negative experiences I have had and I cannot wait until I either get a house or my lease is over, whichever occurs first.

It appears to be a general theme that many people choose to use this site to vent when they are angry rather than choosing to realize that no apartment community is perfect.
