I neither happy or MAD/SAD at the apartment comunity that I live in. My biggest nightmare when I moved to this complex about 3 years ago was that PARKING SPACE was a scarce commodity. IF you did not get a chance to park you car before 6PM, you would be forced to drive to the other end of the complex to park your CAR! I am not lying, anyone who currently or has lived in that complex knows that you would be lucky to get a parking space after 6PM. If your house hold has more than 2 cars, GOOD LUCK with GETTING A parking space. To even prove this, I got a ticket one weekend for parking on the fire-lane when there was absolutely no parking SPACE IN THE WHOLE COMPLEX except outside the gate. Tell me - IS THIS FAIR AT ALL - I PAY $XXXX in RENT, can't I get a parking space without having to HUNT for one!
Secondly kids playing outside is very OK with me, that shows that the community is lively and that your child will be able to make friends - I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THIS - Infact anyone who complains about kids playing outside, needs to try and reduce his speed while driving within the COMPLEX!
MANAGEMENT IS GREAT - I LOVE THE TEAM thats running the complex, however, I would appreciate if they hire extra help for the weekends. SOMETIMES it's hard to get anybody in the office during the weekend ---
OVERAL I WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMEND THIS COMPLEX TO ANYBODY, although I would have to also warn them about the PARKING situation.
ONE MORE THING - THIS COMPLEX ONLY SERVES DSL - NO CABLE / APPARENTLY THE COMPLEX HAS A DEAL WITH SBC AND DISH NETWORK to provide internet as well as sattelite. For those who know SBC, they will make you sign a CONTRACT for 1 year - CABLE DOES NOT DO THIS.
In conclusion -
TO THE COMPLEX MANAGER:
If by any chance you are reading this, TAKE MY REQUESTS INTO CONSIDERATION IF YOU WANT to keep residents like me. I enjoy choice and shun monopoly - GIVE ME A CHOICE OF either DSL or CABLE and i might just renew my lease for another 3/4 years. I appreciate parking next to my appartment, not haveing to walk to the other end of the complex to get to my CAR. PUT yourself in my shoes - MANAGER
